What is the registration process for UWIN?

Unorganized workers are supposed to visit worker facilitation centers/registration camps/common service centers etc. arranged by district administration for registration of unorganised workers. Unorganised workers are supposed to contact and provide details to the help desk executive of themselves as well as family member. The unorganized worker is supposed to furnish all documentary evidence as decided by the State/UTs. The executive will then cross validate the details using existing information in the system and will update the record details accordingly. An acknowledgment number will be given to the unorganized worker on successful submission of application & temporary ID will be given. After successful completion of the registration process, a unique identification number i.e. UWIN will be generated and allotted to the worker. If more than one family member is unorganized worker then each of them will be allotted a UWIN.
